- คำ อธิบาย
Tokusei Shogyoku is the second-highest gyokuro in Shogyokuen's entire range - the penultimate expression of what nearly 200 years of Uji gyokuro production can achieve. Above it sits only Gyokuro Shogyoku, Shogyokuen's absolute signature. At this level, the tea is not simply premium - it is among the finest shaded Japanese green teas produced anywhere in Japan. This is gyokuro for those who have experienced the full range and want the extraordinary.
About Tokusei Shogyoku
Tokusei Shogyoku represents the eighth of nine tiers in Shogyokuen's gyokuro range. The leaf selection at this level is the most demanding short of the final tier - only the finest tencha, from the most carefully managed plantings, processed with absolute precision. The name itself - Tokusei Shogyoku, meaning 'special' Shogyoku - signals its position just below the house signature. The resulting cup is extraordinary in every dimension: concentration, sweetness, depth, smoothness, and duration of finish.
Taste Profile
Liquor: Intense, vivid deep green Mouthfeel: Thick, silky, concentrated Finish: Extremely long, sweet, evolving Umami: Extraordinary, sustained, complex Astringency: None Flavor NotesTokusei Shogyoku brews an intense, vivid deep green liquor with a thick, silky concentration that defines the category. Extraordinary umami opens the cup and sustains through the entire body - complex, layered, and remarkably clean. Natural sweetness is deep, persistent, and evolving - the finish continues to develop long after the sip. A refined marine quality and elegant creaminess add dimension. Zero astringency means the cup is pure concentrated smoothness. This is a gyokuro that asks for stillness and attention - and gives back more than most teas are capable of.
